Manuscript – they’re always located in a restricted, guarded zone. Manuscripts will offer insight on historical events and people.
Treasure Map – as the name says, treasure maps will lead you to hidden treasure containing money or plans to unlock upgrades for the Jackdaw. Find them on corpses of sailors on beaches all around the Caribbean. Maps contain coordinates and a drawing of what surrounds the treasure. Once you track down the coordinates, search for the spot marked by an X on your map to dig the treasure.

Templar Key – there are 5 Templar Keys, but it will take a while to collect them, as they are tied to a series of missions. Completing four tasks set by Assassin Bureau leaders will lead to one of these keys. Once you collect all 5 keys the Templar Armor will unlock. This handy item grants an increased resistance to enemy attacks.
Mayan Stone – solve a puzzle to get the Mayan Stones. There are 16 Mayan Stelae across the map and you will have to climb to the top, and interact with it to switch over to Eagle Vision. While you’re in the Eagle Vision, manipulate a pattern on the ground to match it up with three given objects in the environment. The location of the Mayan Stone will reveal once you solve the puzzle. Collecting all 16 Mayan Stones will unlock Mayan Outfit, an item that deflects metal projectiles.
Present Day Collectibles – Find QR Codes scattered throughout the building and you will unlock cryptic notes, or hack your co-workers’ computers to find out more about Abstergo and what happened following the events of Assassin’s Creed III.
