Lead system designer of World of Warcraft team, Greg Street, has announced his departure through social networks. Street will join a new, unrevealed project after he leaves the Blizzard Entertainment.
Don't forget to like us on FACEBOOK, thanks so much!
World of Warcraft fans will know Greg Street as ‘Ghostcrawler’ on the game’s forums. He was very involved and quite loud member of the team. Greg was the one who was always taking the feedback from the gamers.
"I have been at Blizzard Entertainment for almost six years," said Street. "It has been epic and I have made many friends around the world and I have learned so much. But, I have a great opportunity for something new and exciting, and sadly it is time to move on."
Following his Facebook status, he also twitted that his departure shouldn’t create any significant changes in the upcoming World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor expansion. "We always design from a place of consensus and collaboration" was posted on Street’s tweet account.
Although fans will miss the ‘Ghostcrawler’, they can still look forward to the upcoming Warlords of Draenor, and a new project from Greg Street that I’m sure we’ll find about soon enough.
