Hearthstone is rapidly growing into the famous Trading Card Game. This Priest deck will give you more wins than loses, and it consists of Basic Cards only.

Priest is one of 9 classes you can play in Hearthstone. It has cool Basic cards, and when combined in a right way there is a little chance someone will be able to beat you. I have tested various combinations, but this one works the best so far. Currently I have won 12 out 13 games, even against Legendary Decks. This proves that Hearthstone is truly a free-to-play game, as Basic Cards are earned by levelling up. All it takes is a little of patience and you will have all needed cards in no time at all.
My Winning Priest Deck
Holy Smite x2 – Holy Smite is a spell card that deals 2 damage and costs 1 Mana. It can be used as soon as needed.
Power Word: Shield x2 – a spell card that gives one of your minions 2 Health and puts a new card in your hand. I prefer to use it early in the game to keep my minions alive as long as possible. Costs 1 Mana.
Northshire Cleric x2 – this card will put a new one in your hand each time you heal a minion. Remember that Priest has a Healing Power. Northshire Cleric costs 1 Mana.
Shadow Word: Pain x2 – use it to destroy any minion with an attack of 3 or less. Very useful when your opponent plays Taunts, or minions that have Enrage ability. Costs 2 Mana.
Lightwell – a Card without Attack, but at the start of your turn it will restore 3 Health points to a damaged friendly character at random. Costs 2 Mana.
Novice Engineer x2 – Costs 2 Mana and after you have played it, you will get a new card added to your hand. Useful when cards in your hand are not the ones you can do much with. Try to use it early in the game to get as many cards drawn as possible. Costs 2 Mana.
River Crocolisk x2 – Basic card that can do some damage. You will want it on the board as soon as possible to gain advantage over your opponent early in the game. Costs 2 Mana.
Shadow Word: Death x2 – Destroys a minion with an Attack of 5 or more, and costs 3 Mana. Try to use Shadow Word: Death on Taunts, or other minions with high Attack.
Ironfur Grizzly x2 – This is a Taunt that costs 3 Mana. Having one on a board early in the game will give you some time to advance against your opponent. If you get it at start, try to play it as soon as you have 3 Mana.
Shattered Sun Cleric x2 – Gives a friendly minion +1 Attack and +1 Health. If you can, play it when you already have another minion on board to boost its stats.
Gnomish Inventor x2 – Costs 4 Mana and puts a new card in your hand. With this deck you will want to draw as many cards as possible, and as early as you can.
Lightspawn x2- This minion’s attack is always equal to its health. It starts with an attack of 0 and 5 Health, so as soon as you play it the attack goes up to 5. Not bad for 4 Mana, and other players will try to kill it as soon as they can, leaving your other minions intact.
Sen’Jin Shieldmasta x2 – It’s a Taunt which costs 5 Mana. Play it when necessary.
Holy Nova x2 – Costs 5 Mana. Deals 2 damage to all enemies, including your opponent’s hero, and restores 2 Health to all friendly characters. If played right, Holy Nova can swipe out most, or even all, of your opponent’s minions from board.
Darkscale Healer x2 – for 5 Mana this one will restore 2 Health to all friendly characters. It also has an Attack of 4 and 5 Health points. Use it when needed, unless you have nothing else to play.
Mind Control – Take control of an enemy minion. You can imagine how useful Mind Control can be, though it costs 10 Mana. I have used it only once in these 13 games, and that was to take over Archmage Antonidas legendary card.
This might not be the ultimate Hearthstone Priest Deck, but it works for me. I have got all these cards just by playing Daily Quests. If you have a suggestion on another card that might work better in this deck, let me know and I’ll test it out.
