New and fun gaming piece will move seamlessly on physical surfaces as well as on a tablet to bring a new way of gaming. By following lines, reacting to colours, an ability to change speeds, communicating and making decisions with you, this piece will deliver a completely new gaming experience.
The company that created Ozobot has already developed several interesting games to accompany cute little thing. The games will be free and include OzoLuck, OzoPath, Ozorace and OzoDraw. More games will be developed soon, but for now these are more than enough to try out a new best friend.
Five sensors located on the bottom of an Ozobot will move it along the path of your tablet, or even an offline board game. With four games that will be available at the launch, the thing could keep you entertained for hours.
Ozobot’s built-in lights will flash in colours letting you know what your pet is up to. The games create patterns which are used to guide the robot. With flashing lights it will be easy to communicate with this bot. Although it’s a shame that it cannot talk.
For some $120 you can get a race track kit complete with two robots. Or just get one so you don’t have to share it with another bot. Getting Ozobot on its own costs as little as $59.
The company will launch Kickstarter campaign within a week, so maybe there will be a discounted price for backers. Some minor changes are left to be done to the Ozobot before it sees the light on your tablet screen, but the demo version got surprisingly good reviews.
Ozobot might become the next best thing as it has the potential to save the humanity. Kidding, though it will be interesting to see how the bot could change gamer’s life.
