The PlayStation 4 will reach the UK on November 29 and Prince William has already tested the next-gen console at BAFTA’s Piccadilly headquarters. BAFTA launched the ‘Give Something Back’ campaign which is designed to help young talent develop their skills, by calling on industry’s leading names to mentor and support talented young people trying to get into the gaming, film, and television industries.
Prince William was there to promote the campaign and ccording to the Duke his video gaming skills are “useless”, but he had courage to show his skills in front of room full of visitors today. "I know that I, for one, as an enthusiastic but quite useless gamer, look forward to playing the weird and wonderful games which these young people dream up in the future" he said.
"The UK's gaming industry is one of the strongest in the world," said the Prince. "Our developers are more in demand than ever before, so I hope the young people take inspiration from today's workshop, and get a taste for what a career in games might be like.
He also spoke about the PS4 console saying how it’s very addictive and stated "I'd like to get one but I'm not sure how my wife would feel about it."
